Targilim

Targil 1
    a. Prove the proposition stated at the end of class on 18.5.08.
    b. Derive the expression for Pr(Zkk for all k) for the case of general Mik.
    c. Write a program to compute the critical level for Pocock's method based on the integral expression presented in class. Use Matlab or any other language
you want. (I did it in Fortran. The program is two pages long: about 60% of it is actual computation, while the other 40% is to arrange nice input and output.)
Using your program, verify the critical values that I wrote on the board in class.
    d. For K=2, use the SAS bivariate normal function PROBBNRM to verify that the critical value indeed yields the correct Type I error probability.

Targil 2
Do Questions 2-4. In Question 3, you can use the Windows version of the Lan-DeMets program instead of the DOS version NEWLAND.
