Overview
The Applied Statistics Laboratory is an academic unit that is part of
the Statistics Department. The main purpose of the Lab is teaching
and training statistical consultants.
Through the lab, the Statistics Department aims at escalating the
general knowledge of empirical scientists of statistical problems, and
methods for their solution. The Lab thus gives statistical
consultation to researchers within the Hebrew University, and outside
the University.
All faculty and researcher in the Department are affiliated with the
Lab, some actively as consultants, others help in areas of their
